Why "The Mary Wee Pub"?

    The question we get asked the most is, "What does the name mean?" While the full story is best shared by Mark over a pint at the pub, we're happy to give you a little insight.

"The Mary Wee Pub" is a heartfelt tribute to Mark's late grandmother, Mary Tuite. Grandma Mary was the heart of their large family gatherings. She was known for enjoying a whiskey on the rocks, but as she grew older, her children-concerned about her health-started watering down her drink. This, of course, didn't sit well with Grandma Mary. But she knew she could always count on Mark (and her daughter, Nancy) to help her out when she'd sneakily ask for "a wee bit more."

This name honors her spirit, her love for family, and those small moments of joy shared over a drink. At The Mary Wee Pub, we invite you to raise a glass and celebrate the memories that make life a little richer.
